Why Apothecary?

Aiming for a more radiant future.

Have you ever been asked "Why?" Answering those "why" questions can be quite a ponderous task. As children, we often queried everything—Why is the grass green and the sky blue? Why is water clear? Even as adults, we continue to encounter such questions, and for me, I frequently hear, "Why Apothecary?" My response? Why not? I pursue what I love and wholeheartedly embrace my passion and talents—why not seek out what brings you joy? I was already engaged in this as a housewife and mother. However, I found myself caught in a cycle of prioritizing my husband and kids while putting my own dreams on the back burner. Finally, I confronted the ultimate question: Why am I making excuses about why I can’t chase my dreams and help my family realize theirs? The only thing standing between me and my aspirations was my own mindset convincing me of my limitations. It wasn’t until I experienced the sudden loss of a beloved family member that I found solace in crafting my brews in the kitchen. In my grief, I heard her voice urging me to stop making excuses and to simply go for it. Sometimes, the motivation we seek comes from the most unexpected places; for me, it was over a hot stove, crafting a pain-relieving tea to soothe my arthritis.

Do Crystals Truly hold Magic?

As a Christian and a Witch, I often encounter perplexed individuals who harbor feelings of animosity toward me. This leads me to ponder: why? I do not claim to have the ability to cast spells, fly on brooms, or hex anyone. I offer no judgment toward those who are neither Christians nor witches, nor those who hold beliefs different from my own. Why invest time in belittling someone you don’t even know when we possess a greater power to uplift one another? I believe that everyone has the potential to embody a loving and kind heart if we can set aside the sorrow and hatred that seeks to bring us down. I wholeheartedly love each of you and sincerely wish the best for everyone. Strive to be kind and endeavor to make a positive difference in someone else's day.
